New Playground Swing Set Opens at Cedar Elementary

Students at Cedar Elementary are enjoying a new swing set, officially opened at a school celebration on June 17.

The new equipment was installed over spring break and marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony as part of the school's year-end celebration.

The project was made possible through community support, with funding from Daybreak Rotary, Noon Hour Rotary, the Cedar Parent Advisory Council, and the school's anonymous Fairy Godmother.

Students performed for families, and cake was served following the ceremony.

The new swing set adds to outdoor play opportunities for Cedar students and reflects strong partnerships between the school and community groups.
